Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Instructor Course

The American Heart Association BLS Instructor Course is designed to teach the methods to effectively instruct others in all Basic Life Support (BLS) resuscitation programs. The BLS Instructor Course is a single day program and the objective of this course is to become proficient in delivering and managing Basic Life Support courses. This program will teach the newest AHA standards.

Pre-Requisites

Currently Certified by AHA in Dicispline you want to teach
Successful completion of Online Instructor Program*

Instructor Requirements

1. New Instructors are required to be monitored by Training Center Faculty**
2. Instructors are required to align with an American Heart Association Community Training Center
3. Instructors must teach four (4) programs every two years
4. Instructors must attend a roll-out/update session during their two year certification cycle
5.) This program will teach to the newest American Heart Association standards

Course cost includes all Course and Core Instructor Program

* CORE Instructor Program is an online self taught portion of the program, books will be mailed to participants prior to the start of the class.

**The monitoring must be done within 3 months of the completion of this course
